Kebnekaise is the highest mountain in Sweden! It has two peaks, with both close to 7000 feet high!
Kebnekaise lies in Sapmi, and is about 150 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle and west of the closest major town, Kiruna. The mountain is also near the popular Kungsleden hiking trail (the King's Trail) between the Abisko National Park and Nikkaluokta. There are two trails up the mountain, with the Western one being more tourist friendly and is the 'easy' trail!
Approx 66 kilometres from Kiruna, accessible by car or bus. An additional 19 kilometres from the parking lot to the Kebnekaise Mountain Station
