The town of Sigtuna was created in the year 970, which makes it the oldest town in Sweden!
Getting to Sigtuna is easy, you can get there just by taking the commuter train from Stockholm (it takes just over an hour from Central Station)
Not including the medieval churches, ruins and castles, Sigtuna also offers a quaint main street with cafes and restaurants abound. It is definitely worth a visit, and is a lovely place to spend a sunny day!
