SKOGSKYRKOGÅRDEN
Skogskyrkogården is a quiet and relaxing stroll through Stockholm's largest cemetery. Don't let it spook you, the cemetery is so lovely that it attracts a large amount of joggers, families and tourists looking for a nice walk. Its beautiful architectural qualities has made it one of Stockholms UNESCO world heritages sites!
Skogskyrkogården is a far walk to get to from central Stockholm (about a 2 hour walk away) so we recommend you grab the T-Bana (subway) to Skogskyrkogården station that will bring you right next to the cemetery. There's not a lot to choose from in terms of eats in the area, so remember to pack some food.
If you are in Stockholm during Alla Helgons Dag (All Saints Day), an evening walk here will be a unique and beautiful experience, when the area is lit up by tens of thousands of candles. Alla Helgons Dag is celebrated on the Saturday between Oktober 31 - November 6th.
