THE T-BANA SUBWAY
Stockholm's subway system is an advanced and efficient way to move around town. It dates back to the 1930's and consists of 100 stations! If you're coming to Stockholm for a short amount of time, you may not need to use the subway, since many attractions are located centrally and if you're able, all within a couple of hours walking distance.
But if you're having an extended visit or don´t like walking, you will definitely be using the subway to explore all that Stockholm has to offer! The subway is fairly frequent (most trains within 3 minutes during peak hours, and 7 to 10 minutes during off peak hours) The subway is VERY stroller friendly, and you'll find elevators on every single station. You can buy individual tickets, or 1, 3, or 7 day passes depending on your needs. If you have a credit card, you can use any of the automated machines to top up your pass.
